My name is Scott Mosser and I currently live in Pittsburgh, PA.

I bought my first camera when I was in 8th grade. I’ll never forget it, a Canon AE1 Program purchased with the money I had earned mowing neighbors’ yards. Back in those days, cameras shipped with 50mm primes and I picked up a cheap 135mm with my kit. Not a zoom in sight, except for my pair of Nikes (or were they Reboks back then?)! First assignment was a family trip to Disney World. My client wasn’t exactly thrilled with the results and I learned my first important photographic lesson, get familiar with your gear before the you leave town! At the time I didn’t even know how to read the light meter! I’ve since learned.

Through high school and college I continued to shoot, became photo editor of this or that and actually learned to work a black and white darkroom. I had the time of my life, and found that I wasn’t so bad at capturing the shot…

Life happened and I slowly drifted away from my hobby. A couple of years ago I picked up a Nikon D90 and rekindled the affair. It’s been great fun and I’m now looking to take my hobby a little more seriously.

BokehMojo will be the place where I post my failures, successes, tips, tricks and some of the inspiration I’ve found around the internets and in the world. I hope you enjoy it and come back often. Please don’t hesitate to post a comment.
